Hey y’all! I’ve been painting, but nothing super exciting yet. Lol. I have 3 or 4 different orders incoming, but the world is insane.
I’m also in a bit of a rut because I’m done with all my school stuff (hallelujah!), but that means that now I’m waiting for 3 different organizations to talk to each other and agree that I’m cool. And I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but the government has gone crazy lately. So.
Anyways! I worked on this chick tonight. She is one of my all-time favorite sculpts, and I’m not sure why I haven’t painted her before. Maybe I did, in bones? No idea. Anyways, I wanted to do something different than the normal red. So I’m going for some texture and some freehand. Just gonna grind it out. Lol.
I hope y’all like her. I’ll try to get some more work done tomorrow.
Other new projects include accidentally adopting a kitten, and making an amazing herb garden! The kitten, Ember, we found in the burn pile. Other than a spot on her head and a few singed whiskers, she’s great. Growing steadily, eats like a piggie. Our plan is to wean her and get her until we think she’s old enough to be an outside kitty, and then she goes back to my mom as a barn cat.

The herb garden is something we’ve kicked around for a long time, but I’ve never had a green thumb. Somehow in the last year, I have developed one! So, herb garden it is! We have rosemary, thyme, basil, tarragon, sage marjoram, and cilantro!

That’s my excitement! I need to sit down and play with my cricut to see if I can make my own engraved plaques for my plinths, but otherwise, that’s it!
I hope y’all are being safe and doing well.

Love the green you chose for the sorceress!
Knew you would keep the kitten, even in a limited sense!
Good luck with the herb garden! Scissors!
