Hey there!!

I have gotten more time to paint! That’s super exciting!!!

I’m hoping that I’ll have more time here when I start clinicals, because even though I’ll be working more, I’ll be studying less.. That’s the theory at least. we’ll see how the reality goes.

Anyways, I’m on the home stretch with Platypod. I have a Shoatima at home, and I’m waiting for my Frumitty and Echidnox to arrive !!!!!!  I have some awesome friends in the mini painting community and I was able to find both. 😀 ( I also still have several of many of them if anyone is interested in trading or purchasing them. Hit me up.)

So, when I couldn’t find an Echidnox, my original plan was to make it his funeral. Heh.. Because he was the only one I didn’t have, and I couldn’t really think of another way to do something with just the 3 of them. So, now that I have all 4, I’m wondering what to do now! Maybe a celebration of the defeat of Pentimus the evil dragon!! ( I know they never made him…any drama or reason I shouldn’t do this?”)

This is where I started on him. I had done some work between the last time I posted and this picture. I’m trying for that embroidered look on the stars, so y’all let me know if I succeeded.

I decided I didn’t like the orange flippers. But making them brown is too boring. Probably end up finding a happy medium there. 🙂Isn’t he adorable!? I can’t stand it! I didn’t think I would like him that much! Also, the Great Bearded One helped me out with some shelves yesterday! I’m so so happy with them! ( I forgot to take a picture of when I got it all organized, so you have to deal with my super excited and messy pictures….)

I love them! I have 4 of those baskets now that are full of fun stuff that is no longer on the ground or taking up a lot of space elsewhere. Of course, there are still 2 giant rubbermaid totes full of basing materials and minis, but that’s safely hidden in the closet. 😀This is one of my baskets. This is my “extra” paint. It’s not a problem, and I can stop any time I want to!!!! :D:D:D:D
