Hey y’all!! I got to paint something!!!!!!
This is Pop, one of Kos’ 3 mephits. The other 2 are flame mephits, and I’ll be painting them with red flames and blue (think butane) flames. They should be cool. This guy was actually a lot of fun to paint. It was interesting though, because I wanted it to look like lava, I had to do my highlights all backwards… Painting bright colors in the ‘shadow’ areas was not easy. 🙂
Anyways, I gotta head to bed. Long day at the beach planned for tomorrow!!

Absolutely! I can’t wait to see it! I used blackened brown as the rock color, it seemed to work the best.

Nicely done! I’ve utterly failed before painting a campfire, so managing it in tiny crevices is great!
