Hehe. I’m so funny.
I loved these girls (and the dryad like them) when I first saw them. The looked like something I could really enjoy painting. And I did. But I learned something from them as well: never base before I’m done painting.
I got so excited about pouring the water effects and tinting it and all that, that I didn’t finish up their skin or really finish up the eyes like I wanted to. And now I have no desire to do so because they’re based, and therefore, done.
So frustrating , this brain of mine.
Anyways, mine ended up with no face whatsoever. I’m not sure if that’s the way they were sculpted (doubtful) or a casting oops. Either that as, that made me think of the mermaids from Harry Potter. So I decided to paint them similar. This is my inspiration
These are my mostly finished products.
I need to work on my skin blending for sure. That’s one of the classes I’m most excited about at reapercon! Jessica rich’s hot chicks class!
So,there you go. Working on the dryad currently, and maybe a dark sword piece for reapercon. We’ll see how far I get!
