Hey y’all!!

Last weekend was RVE, so I was busy all weekend. One day I’ll be good about posting during things… maybe… 🙂

Anyways, I had a great time. It’s always fun to just drop into videochats with old friends and get together even when we’re far apart. And I got to take some classes. Obviously, it’s not the same, and my ADD goes absolutely NUTS with online classes, but it was great. Here’s a few minis from the classes I took.

Obviously, I took everything Erin (Corporea) taught. Cause she’s the best. I did her black and white class, her crystals, and her monstrous faces classes. The crystals were awesome, and I learned a lot about NMM that I might try… I can’t find my black and white mini, but it was super cool. I love that she takes classic examples and uses them for examples. I’m by no means classically trained, so I wouldn’t even know what I was looking at if I went to an art gallery. It’s very helpful to me for someone to sort of translate it for me. And she does. 🙂 Also, the Tiny Overlord stole my computer and did the monstrous skin class for me at one point. lol

I also did a comic style class by Mike Cousins of Epic Duck Studios. It was super cool, and I really enjoyed it. Comic style is something I really enjoy, and he made it super accessible. I am actually going to go back his Patreon, because I really like his youtube stuff and all his how-to videos. I’m an old lady, so I don’t back any of those things. Hopefully that tells you how cool his content is. 🙂 This is my class mini, so I definitely need some more practice. The tentacle is for a future, unnamed project. We will see if it goes anywhere. lol

Then I did Rhonda Bender’s scale class. But I got completely derailed about halfway through, so Rocky just got a basecoat, wash, and drybrush. He needs a lot more work. But I love Spruce Green, so he makes me happy.

I also have a few things just to update y’all on. I finished another copy of the Child, I’m working on 2 different busts for funsies, and I did more legos. 🙂 Oh, and the Great Bearded One made me a paint mixer out of legos! Gotta love the old Mindstorm sets. 🙂

Last, but certainly not least, REAPERCON 2021 IS ON!!!!!!!

MY TICKETS ARE BOUGHT, MY ROOM IS BOOKED. I CANNOT WAIT!

Which means I have no idea what I want to paint for the competition, and I feel a MIGHTY NEED to plan everything. So expect to see about 59 projects come and go and get changed and i love them and then i hate them and okay i’ll turn it in anyways. 🙂 Bear with me.
