Hey there! Hope you’re doing well!! It’s been a while, but what’s new there? Lol. Someday….

I finished up a little guy recently, he made me super happy. I was determined to get something painted, so I sat down for about 3 hours the other day and knocked him out!! I might grab another one to paint another day when I can sit down and really take my time to capture that mischief!!! As it was, I ended up going for a Rumplestiltskin-esque effect. Hope y’all like him!

I also decided I was tired of not being able to paint buffalo plaid. So, like all the other basic girls, I figured it out. 🙂 I definitely think it works best with the bright colors as opposed to the darker colors. It doesn’t seem to matter as far as the besmara black vs coal black, but I can see how it could be problematic with the blue sometimes. Now I just need to find something to paint it on! It gets muddy fast on small areas, but I’m not sure if that’s a universal truth or just my (lack of) skill. 🙂

Well, that’s it for now! I’m about to have 2 short weeks for work back to back, so maybe I’ll actually get a chance to paint again!! The Tiny Overlord recently turned 3, so we paint together sometimes, but he still has a pretty short attention span. Also, I need to find a picture of it, but he painted a Rudolph that was… gothic? Lol.

I’ll have to get another picture this evening. I just cracked up watching him paint that. So I don’t get a lot done when he ‘helps’ me.
