Hey y’all! I’ve been painting some, but mostly just enjoying not having to study!! I have nailed down a job, so that’s super exciting. I can’t wait to get started! I have a lot of things on my bench, and even more on the way, so I’ve gotta get painting! Let me update y’all.

This is the motley group. I have 2 plague doctors, Spring, and 2 copies of one of the Best Friends busts. I’m getting the other 2 printed now, so they’ll join the crew soon.

I’ve got Spring almost done on the front, but then I have to tackle ALL OF THAT HAIR.

I decided to go a little turquoise-y on her to indicate some sheerishness on the dress. I didn’t want it to be see-through, but I wanted it light. I hope that comes through. I may need to do some more and refine it a bit. But the flowers are almost all done, and then I move to the hair.

The plague doctors are for an exchange on the forums. I love doing the reaper exchanges, and my partner wanted some more historical, less fantasy minis. I’m trying to take them a historical way with their clothing colors and textures. Still very much WIP, so hopefully they like them!

Lastly is this girl. I love her. Since the resin is translucent, I’m going to try a few things to get some cool effects. You’ll notice I didn’t prime the beer sloshing out or the ferret on her shoulder. We’ll see if anything comes of that. She makes me super happy, because she resembles one of my friends quite uncannily. I like that she’s in more modern clothes as well. Just gonna play around with that.

I also have a Faun bust coming, the Bies bust from Ignis Art, and the other 2 from the Best Friends collection. And I just accepted my first really big commission, so that’s even more exciting! Looks like I better get my brushes in gear!!!
