Hey guys!

It’s 2020! That’s exciting!  I know everyone starts new things every year, so I’m jumping on the bandwagon! I think that between the toddler, Grad school, work, and Life, I may be able to do more this year. My goal is to paint 1 mini a month. Whether or not it’s perfect, I want to complete something each month. Considering the fact that I used to paint about 10-15 minis a month, this shouldn’t be difficult. I’m trying to motivate myself to do more than just sit around scrolling through facebook at the end of the day. 🙂

As a follow up, I did place (approx.) 16th in the Reaper Facebook contest. (approx because it’s from likes and there have been a few more here or there since the contest ended and people posted which ones were theirs). It was fun, and I intend to do the next one as well.  Here’s what my entry looked like.

On that note, I did get some paint on some other minis too! They’re not done yet, but I am making some forward progress! I love my little Clint Eastwood mouse. I gave him a cigar, because that seemed appropriate. lol. This picture was from when I started it, but I’ve been working on it to make it more realistic. I just forgot to take pictures. 🙂

This is my setup when I was painting the other day. My new box from Reaper has helped me paint more when I need to be mobile!

Working on this chick too… I’m trying some different things on her skin, so it’s rough. We’ll see where we end up.

So, by the end of the month I have to have my exchange piece for the Reaper forums done, and that can count as my mini for the month. Or I could paint like 3 things. We’ll see!!! Wish me luck!
