I haven’t gotten to paint in a week! I’ve had a lot going on lately though! I we to a crawfish cookout!

And I made some stuff for that. Gringo’s amazon sauce is one of my specialties, as are these new cake balls I found a recipe for.

The recipe goes like this.
2 bags of mother’s iced animal cookies
1 box of cream cheese
1 package of white chocolate or Vanilla melting stuff

Blend the cookies. Smash them, whatever. You want a powdery substance.
Then add in the cream cheese until you have a gooey substance.
Roll them into about 1 inch balls. Otherwise it’s too much because they’re so so sweet.
Melt the melting stuff, dip them in it.
Let them dry on parchment paper.
Gorge yourself.

They’re so so so good. My friends have dubbed them amazeballs, not cake balls.
Then we got a cool little ping pong set that goes across the table, so the Midget and the Hubs cleared everything out and tried it!

It went great! We had a great family night just playing and being silly. We also got some new patio furniture and cleared out the porch since we built a new doghouse.

We call it the Doge Mahal. ☺ they’re only a LOT spoiled with their covered porch.

This is the damage that the boxes from IKEA did to me! Our new patio furniture is adorable, but those cardboard boxes will bite you!

I also checked out an awesome new place called Texas Art Asylum, suggested by fellow forum-goer Morihalda. It was a really cool little place! Kind of a cross between a flea market and a craft store. I’ll definitely be going back with my mom sometime.

So, that’s been my last week or so. On top of all the activities, I’ve worked the last 5 days, and I am looking forward to my day off tomorrow for sure. We’ve been seeing around 50-70 patients a shift at my little ER, so I’ve earned it!
Hopefully I’ll paint tomorrow!!
