I painted something!
I got 4 hours to paint tonight, so I made it count. I decided that I was going to sit down, and not get up till I completed something. Not my best work ever,  but I’m still making progress and learning what I dont like to paint. Just fyi, that’s armor and weapons. Awkward.
Anyways, I painted this guy, he’s from reaper. I got him last year at reapercon during my boneyard crawl! I can’t wait to go there again…. It was amazing. I’ve been collecting old pewter again for the melt so if you have any you want me to take care of for you,  just let me know. 😈
He really reminded me of the Dragon from the Guardians of the Flame series of books. If you haven’t read them, you should. Google it,  I’ll wait.

They really were a lot of fun to paint. I think my cloak is one of the better ones I’ve done, but I’m not terribly happy with myself over the Lance. I forgot about it at first, and put on both wings. Then I had to take the left one back off to put the Lance on. By then I was just tired, so I stuck it back on and said done!

I liked his little wingy parts on the backs of his front legs. Things to work on: musculature shading, metal/armor, and keep up the practice on the blending. I’m seriously, seriously hoping my impact minis get here soon, I need some seriously big eyes to play with. Make myself feel better,  you know. 😉
