Oh my gosh! I didn’t realize my last post was 4/16!!!!!!

I seriously have lost my mind recently. Quick recap: we opened the hospital at my ER (we did it backwards and opened the ER for 2 years before we opened the hospital) and it has been a complete cluster. We’ve been open for a month now and we’ve already had about 186153156 problems. I’m trying to stay out of them as best I can. Then I started back to school. I’m getting my BSN now so I can transition to the FNP program in January (wish me luck!). So, my painting has suffered for sure. I’m working on getting this whole thing back in balance, it’s just kind of like adding another plate when you’re juggling. So, anyways… I worked some more on my little green man and all his little bitty TEENY TINY books!

I posted him on the forums a couple of weeks ago, and got some good feedback. So I took it and tried to do my best to highlight more and add more shadows, and do all that. I think it turned out even better than I had planned. I’ve decided I’m calling him done, and I’m going to keep working on his workshop now. There were requests for scale images, so I included Sir Forscale in these to give you an idea of how big he is.

Yep! I’ve ordered some more pieces from Reaper to really bring this all home, since I’m not really in love with the table. I’m also getting just a few other ‘flavor’ pieces.

I’m off tomorrow and Wednesday, so I’m hoping to get some more work done on his little base (including a pillow I’m sewing and embroidering for him to sit on!!)
