So, with the excitement of Bones III, I picked up some of my other ones that I never finished, and got to working! I’ve only had one day off at a time, so I only have a WIP. I really like this chica, and she works well for my whole “blend like a pro by next year” goal.
Anyways, hope y’all like her! I’m gonna work on her here soon(TM) I hope. Got another day off on Tuesday, but we’re planning on going to Schlitterbahn, so we’ll see. 🙂

I really like the use of the purple. It’s re-occuring, but limited enough that it’s not oppressive. Nice looking figure here.

Thanks! I wasn’t sure about re-using it, but I’m glad it worked!

Love this model, and think your hair in particular makes her stand out. Are you planning to add any further depth to the face? As it is, the lips in particular seem to “disappear” a little among the fleshtone.

Thanks so much!
I am planning on doing some more on the face. I have a particularly difficult time getting the face blended and highlighted/shaded well without making it look weird, or having huge layers of paint.

Looking forward to see it! Judging by the quality of the blend and detail so far, you’ll get there.
Also check out my actual blog, https://leadershipten.wordpress.com/, since Gravatar apparently made you follow an old defunct one…

Very smooth blending on the dress and nice transition to shadow. Well on your way to the goal.

Thank you! I’m really not sure if I’m doing it right.. I pretty much just go back and forth with the colors until it looks kinda right.. 🙂
