Y’all, I feel so special!!! My pathfinder red dragon was chosen for the display picture on the website, next to Corporea!!! I couldn’t believe it!
I’ve been working on several things, as I am wont to do… I have the hydra basecoated, and I’m working on finding an alligator pattern I really like. I’m not planning on doing the individual scales like I did with the Sea dragon, but I’ not ruling it out. 😉 I also have a few sea-themed minis I’m planning on starting soon.. I have 2 little baby murlocs, a few mermaids/ naiads, and some pretty cool familiars. I’ve been enjoying kind of pumping out minis, and finishing ones that are half done after the ordeal that was the dragon. 🙂
I also started on my Summer exchange minis, I have one almost done, and I’m trying to decide what else I’m going to send. I really don’t like the Malena miniature, and since she was the Reapercon mini, I figured she would be highly desired. So, she’s almost done, and then I’ll move onto something else.. My partner said that they generally use minis for D&D/Pathfinder, so I considered painting a group of spiders or something that would be useful for that.. I have 20 minis to choose from since I did the pewter melt.
I ordered some minis to try out my plan for my horror diorama next year! I’ve been taking more pictures for more ideas, and I’m gonna dry fit the pieces this week hopefully.. I have one mini I know I want to paint, and I’m looking for another one that will really round out the diorama. So I’m planning on painting the one mini 3 or 4 times before next year, so I can get everything exactly the way I want. 🙂
Anyways, I’m working the next 3 days, so I’m hoping to get a little bit of time to paint in the evenings. We’re starting running/dieting today, so I may (hopefully!) worn out!!
